PLUME, a blockchain project based on regulated real-world assets (RWA), announced on the 21st through its official channels that its Bermuda-based subsidiary, KDAB, has obtained a Class M Digital Asset Business License from the Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA). As a result, Plume has joined a group of global cryptocurrency companies, including Circle, Coinbase, and Kraken, that have obtained licenses from Bermuda's financial authorities, and KDAB has become the industry's first operator of a regulated on-chain vault. In this regard, Chris Yin, CEO of Plume, emphasized, "The KDAB vault operates based on regulated funds and high-quality assets in the US, Hong Kong, and other major countries. We are implementing ETFs, which can be seen as the last structural innovation product in asset management, in an on-chain environment."
