Cointelegraph reported that the Missouri Attorney General's office has filed a lawsuit against cryptocurrency ATM operator CoinFlip, alleging that it facilitated fraudulent transactions and profited from them. The Missouri Attorney General claims that CoinFlip was involved in fraud cases targeting consumers, including the elderly and veterans. Previously, authorities began investigating CoinFlip and several other cryptocurrency ATM operators in December of last year. CoinFlip currently operates 136 cryptocurrency ATMs in Missouri and 4,229 across the United States.
