The Block reported that Zama, an open-source encryption technology developer, acquired TokenOps, a token distribution management platform for institutions. Through this acquisition, Zama plans to build a private token distribution infrastructure utilizing Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) technology. This will enable the processing of token allocation size, unlock schedules, and recipient information in an encrypted state on public blockchains. Previously, Zama raised $57 million in a Series B investment led by Pantera Capital and Blockchain.com in June last year, at which time its valuation was estimated at $1 billion.
