Fed to retain Powell as 'interim chairman' until Warsh takes office

The Federal Reserve (Fed) announced in a statement on the 15th (local time) that current Chairman Jerome Powell will serve as 'interim chairman' until Kevin Warsh officially takes the oath of office. Chairman Powell's term expires on the 16th.
