Dunamu CEO Oh Kyung-seok presented a blueprint at the 'UP Class' digital asset special lecture held at Korea University's Seoul campus on the 13th, stating that Upbit will leap beyond a digital asset exchange to an on-chain financial platform by introducing its own wallet and blockchain infrastructure this year. According to ETNews, he added, "We plan to introduce our own wallet and chain within the year and support the on-chain entry of 13 million Upbit users." He also mentioned expanding into the APAC market, emphasizing, "We are building services to enable Web2 users to conveniently enter the Web3 market through Kiwa Wallet and Kiwa Chain. This is not just a simple service expansion, but an act of opening the most powerful on-chain gateway in APAC."
