Nvidia recorded an annual revenue growth rate of 65%, but the total compensation of CEO Jensen Huang was found to have decreased by 27%.
Nvidia announced on the 12th (local time) to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) that the total compensation paid to CEO Huang for the 2026 fiscal year (February last year to January this year) was $36,343,830 (approximately 54.17 billion won).
This is a 27% decrease compared to $49,866,251 in the previous 2025 fiscal year.
This decrease in total compensation is due to a reduction in stock-based compensation, which accounts for the largest portion of overall compensation.
CEO Huang's stock compensation for the 2026 fiscal year was $24,800,511, a 36% decrease compared to $38,811,306 in the previous fiscal year.
However, the base salary of $1,497,627 remained largely unchanged from last year, and performance-based bonuses unrelated to equity were also the same as the previous year at $6 million.
In addition, other compensation amounted to $4,045,691, which includes residential security, personal travel-related security, consulting fees, chauffeur services, costs for guests accompanying him on private jet use, pension contributions, and insurance premiums.
However, CEO Huang secured shares worth $141.31 million (approximately 210.6 billion won) in that fiscal year, as 1,113,555 shares of performance-linked stock units (PSU) previously granted were paid out.
