Coindesk reported that Kraken's parent company Payward and asset manager Franklin Templeton have formed a strategic partnership to develop on-chain financial products targeting institutional investors. The two companies plan to accelerate their penetration into the institutional market by jointly developing tokenized income products, equities, and blockchain-based active funds. Some products may also be offered to Kraken's retail investors in specific regions. Kraken plans to integrate Franklin Templeton's BENJI tokenized money market fund as collateral and a cash management tool.
