On-chain analyst Emperor Osmo announced via X that 14 protocols have exited LayerZero (ZRO) or temporarily suspended bridging in the last 48 hours. LayerZero is a cross-chain bridge that was exploited by hackers in Kelp DAO's rsETH hacking incident. Three entities, including KelpDAO, SOLV Protocol, and Re Protocol, adopted Chainlink CCIP as their new standard bridge infrastructure and migrated. Protocols that temporarily suspended their bridges included Camino (KMNO), Ethena (ENA), Euler (EUL), and Curve (CRV). Those that froze their markets included Aave (AAVE), Sparklend, Fluid (FLUID), Pendle (PENDLE), and Compound (COMP). LayerZero had previously apologized for the security incident and announced that it would change its validator settings.
