Bankrupt cryptocurrency exchange Bittrex has asked a court to invalidate its 2023 settlement with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Decrypt reported. Bittrex paid a $24 million fine to the SEC in 2023 in connection with charges of operating an unregistered exchange. The exchange is arguing that the SEC's stance on cryptocurrencies has become more favorable, and is asking the court to invalidate the settlement and order the refund of the $24 million fine.
