The Block reported that Ekubo Protocol had approximately $1.4 million worth of WBTC stolen due to a vulnerability attack on its EVM swap router. Blockchain security firm Blockaid analyzed that hackers exploited a flaw in Ekubo v2's EVM extension contract. The attack occurred through approximately 85 consecutive transactions, and the main victim reportedly lost about 17 WBTC. The stolen funds were subsequently converted into WETH and DAI.
