Michael Boes, an executive at U.S. fast-food chain Steak 'n Shake, announced at the 2026 Bitcoin Conference that Bitcoin (BTC) has been included in the executive compensation system. Previously, Steak 'n Shake introduced Bitcoin payments via the Lightning Network at 393 stores across the U.S. in May of last year.
