The court suspended the effect of the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU)'s 6-month partial business suspension against Bithumb. As a result, Bithumb can continue its operations as before for the time being, Yonhap News reported. Previously, the FIU had issued a 6-month partial business suspension against Bithumb, citing reasons such as Bithumb's engagement in virtual asset transfer transactions with unregistered overseas virtual asset service providers. Bithumb challenged the disposition by filing an annulment lawsuit along with an application for an injunction to suspend its execution.
