Global payment infrastructure provider Walapay announced it has secured a $4.6 million seed investment led by Generative Ventures. Commerce Ventures, Polygon (POL), NGC Ventures, Big Brain Holdings, and others participated in this investment. Walapay helps clients convert idle deposits into yield-generating digital dollar products, and in collaboration with digital asset infrastructure providers, also offers custody solutions tailored to clients' regulatory and operational requirements. The investment will be used to expand licensed regions, strengthen banking partnerships, and recruit talent.
