Blockchain security firm SlowMist reported that approximately 114.09 ETH worth of assets were stolen due to the exploitation of a vulnerability in the 'Loop Safe Module' linked to Aave (AAVE) v3. SlowMist explained, "The attacker exploited the fact that they could bypass the module's authorization verification even with a fake Safe wallet, thereby withdrawing weETH and Aave collateral assets from two Safe multisig wallets where this module was activated."
