Sunaina Tuteja, former Chief Innovation Officer (CIO) of the U.S. Federal Reserve, predicted that regulatory improvements and industry innovation would continue even if the CLARITY Act does not pass. In an interview with Digital Asset in Seoul on the 1st, former CIO Tuteja said, "The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) have already begun preparations for a situation where the CLARITY Act is not enacted," adding, "That work will continue." She further stated, "The SEC and CFTC have been issuing new guidance almost daily since the Senate cloture vote on the CLARITY Act failed," and evaluated this as "a very positive sign."
