UK Lloyd's Bank announced on its official website that it has completed a real-time cross-border payment pilot program based on stablecoins with Visa. In the 7-day pilot, Lloyd's Bank purchased USDC through Archax, an exchange under the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), and settled $750,000 with Visa. The transaction took 1 hour. This pilot is Visa's first stablecoin payment program conducted with a major UK banking group.
