Crypto Briefing reported that a large-scale fund outflow occurred from the Morpho vault managed by Sentora following a staking-related security incident involving MetaMask. The RLUSD vault decreased from $426.4 million to $350.4 million in just 4 hours, and the PYUSD vault decreased from $408.9 million to $349.3 million. Morpho is structured such that third-party curators set the collateral and loan terms for each vault, as well as the markets where funds are deployed. If this fund outflow continues, the vault's fund utilization rate may increase. A higher utilization rate could lead to an increase in borrowing interest rates and make immediate withdrawals difficult for remaining depositors.
