DogeOS, the Dogecoin (DOGE) application layer, has launched its public testnet and introduced EVM-compatible smart contract functionality to the Dogecoin network, The Block reported. DogeOS is built using a zero-knowledge (ZK) rollup method and uses DOGE as the native token for paying transaction fees.
