The Chicago Board Options Exchange (Cboe) and S&P Dow Jones Indices (S&P DJI) are exploring cooperation on the development of new products, including tokenized options. The two companies announced on the 29th (local time) that they have extended their exclusive license agreement for S&P 500 index options by 25 years, maintaining it until 2051, and stated that they can cooperate on developing new products beyond existing index derivatives. With this extension, Cboe will continue to hold the exclusive right to provide S&P 500 index options trading.
