BlockBeats reported that the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Accounting and Financial Reporting Council (AFRC), expanding the scope of regulatory cooperation. The scope of cooperation includes financial and regulatory compliance reporting and related audit work for SFC-licensed Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASPs) and other licensed corporations. Both agencies will also cooperate in information sharing, case referrals, and joint investigations.
