Coinbase, the largest virtual asset exchange in the US, has been expelled from 'UK Finance', a major UK financial institution council and lobby group. The UK Finance board reportedly recently informed Coinbase in writing of the revocation of its membership. Amid intensifying competition for dominance between the traditional financial sector and the virtual asset industry, it is interpreted that the traditional financial lobby group has moved to check the digital asset industry as its influence in the UK policymaking process has grown.
