On the 22nd, the daily transaction volume of the top 5 domestic cryptocurrency exchanges, including Upbit, Bithumb, Coinone, Korbit, and Gopax, was recorded at $3.27424 billion (approximately 4.45 trillion won), Korea Economic Daily reported, citing cryptocurrency analysis platform CoinGecko. In this regard, the media explained, "This is a 44.7% increase from $2.2623 billion (approximately 3.08 trillion won) on the 1st of this month. Compared to the lowest point this year, $189.37 million (approximately 260 billion won) on June 8, it has surged more than 17 times." It added, "The deposits at the end of last month for the five major cryptocurrency exchanges reached 10.6561 trillion won, an increase of 104.32% compared to January last year (5.2154 trillion won)."
