It has become possible to develop apps and AI agents that pay for online services with Cardano (ADA) or Cardano-based tokens. According to CoinDesk, Cardano has been added to the official software kit for x402, a cryptocurrency payment standard utilizing HTTP, and currently supports TypeScript, with Python support planned for the future. However, the media explained, "Actual payments have occurred on the Cardano test network, but not yet on the mainnet. This does not mean that ADA is being actively used for commercial service payments."
