Ondo Finance (ONDO) has launched a feature, in collaboration with tokenization brokerage infrastructure firm Alpaca, that allows institutions to directly convert physical stocks and ETFs they hold into Ondo Stocks' stock tokens, or conversely, exchange tokens back into physical stocks. Previously, separate cash was required for token issuance, but now approved institutions can utilize their existing stock holdings. This feature is supported on the Ethereum and BNB chains.
