The Block reported that Coinbase will support initial public offering (IPO) subscriptions for eligible U.S. individual customers through its app starting this week. The first target is smart ring company Oura, and users can apply for shares at the IPO public offering price before stock trading begins. The actual allocation may be full, partial, or unallocated depending on demand. Through this, Coinbase expands its business scope beyond the cryptocurrency and stock secondary markets to include the IPO market.
