Uniswap (UNI) founder Hayden Adams revealed that FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) previously spent at least $1 million to acquire the Uniswap domain (Uniswap.com) and then linked it to another exchange created by cloning Uniswap's code. According to BeInCrypto, Adams explained that Uniswap also considered acquiring the domain at the time but gave up due to the high price, and SBF subsequently purchased it. Uniswap later took legal action, citing malicious use of the domain, and eventually reclaimed the domain for free. Currently, Uniswap.com redirects to the official Uniswap site.
