Binance Research analyzed in its latest report that the scale of on-chain tokenized real-world assets (RWA) reached $34.18 billion as of the 15th (local time), an 85.2% increase compared to the beginning of the year. Bonds and money market funds accounted for the largest share at $18.29 billion, and the scale of tokenized stocks increased by 390.4% during the same period. These two categories accounted for more than 75% of the newly increased RWA market value this year. The report stated, "Currently, the scale of tokenized underlying assets accounts for only about 0.01% of the total underlying asset market, and only about 12% of on-chain RWAs are utilized in DeFi, such as liquidity pools, lending, and collateral markets. For future growth of the RWA market, it is important not only to bring assets on-chain but also to increase the utilization of tokenized assets in DeFi."
