OpenAI's next-generation model, GPT-6 Astra, deciphered a 1941 German military Enigma message (a mechanical encryption device used by the German military at the time), but this does not mean that modern cryptographic technology used in Bitcoin (BTC) wallets has been breached, BeinCrypto reported. Carter Leffen, who is in charge of product development and operations at Bloomberg, narrowed the search scope using the place name 'Rosenow' obtained from the relevant message as a clue, and after verifying 14.8 million keys for about 10 hours, he cracked the code. However, it is explained that Enigma is a 1930s cryptographic system, and its structure and difficulty are significantly different from modern cryptographic technology used for BTC security.
