The Block reported that 18 U.S. state attorneys general, including New York Attorney General Letitia James, sent a letter to Congress urging them to vote against CLARITY. James argued, "The current bill could encourage fraudsters and strip state attorneys general of their authority to protect investors." CLARITY is scheduled for a key procedural vote on the 15th (local time).
