Adam Aron, CEO of AMC Entertainment, a US-listed cinema chain, once again criticized Robinhood (HOOD) CEO Vlad Tenev, who had questioned "What's the problem?" regarding the AMC stock token controversy, and demanded that Robinhood voluntarily cease trading of the tokens. Aron claimed via X that "It is shocking and shameful that Robinhood, an American company, deliberately operates its business on Jersey Island, far from the US, offering securities similar to AMC without complying with US securities laws." He further pointed out, "Such a synthetic stock market separates a company's control over capital raising from token holdings, and does not provide investors with rights given to actual shareholders, such as voting rights." He also stated that "If Robinhood does not stop trading, we will consult with securities lawyers to see if we can forcibly stop it," and announced that he would raise the issue with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Previously, when Aron criticized Robinhood's AMC stock tokens, Tenev had challenged him by asking, "What's the problem?"
