Coinbase announced that it has submitted an application to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to launch perpetual stock futures trading in the United States. The exchange stated that it has filed a declaration for derivatives exchange and brokerage services, adding, "We are preparing to launch individual stock perpetual futures trading within the United States."
