Bitcoin.com reported that the Salvadoran government's continued bitcoin purchases have increased its national holdings to 7,762 BTC. The government maintains a policy of buying 1 BTC per day regardless of the bitcoin price. The amount added from January to April this year alone exceeded 1,600 BTC, and the purchasing trend continues into its fifth year since the bitcoin policy began in 2021.
