As XRP (Ripple) gave back some of its August gains, an artificial intelligence (AI) price prediction model suggested a potential further decline of approximately 8% by the end of September. However, the predicted price is higher than the $1 level it mostly stayed at during this summer.
According to Finbold, a cryptocurrency media outlet, on September 2 (local time), its proprietary AI-based price prediction tool analyzed oscillators, Relative Strength Index (RSI), moving averages (MA), and other factors to forecast XRP's price at $1.22 on September 30. This is 8.22% lower than the price of $1.33 at the time the article was written.
This forecast utilized three large language models (LLMs): DeepSeek Chat, ChatGPT-5.7 Luna, and Grok 4.5. Grok offered the most optimistic outlook, predicting a 6.13% drop to $1.25.
DeepSeek estimated the month-end price at $1.23, predicting a 7.18% decline from the current level. In contrast, ChatGPT presented the most pessimistic outlook among the three models, suggesting an 11.28% drop to $1.18.
XRP's recent weakness was analyzed as part of a macroeconomic risk-off trend affecting the overall virtual asset market, rather than individual negative news. At the same time, Bitcoin (BTC) fell by 1.1% in a single day, and the total market capitalization of virtual assets also decreased by approximately 1%. The Altcoin Season Index recorded 29, indicating a market environment where funds favor Bitcoin over altcoins.
However, the US non-farm payrolls report to be released on September 2 could be a major variable for the market. The media reported that if employment growth turns out weaker than expected, prospects for additional interest rate hikes would recede, potentially supporting an overall rebound in the virtual asset market.
