Cryptobriefing reported that Zcash (ZEC) wallet Vizor has successfully signed a shielded transaction (a privacy transaction that hides transaction information) using a Ledger hardware wallet. As a result, users can now store their ZEC private keys offline on a Ledger device and conduct transactions without disclosing transaction amounts, addresses, and other details. This is done by installing a dedicated app on the Ledger device and connecting it to an external wallet like Vizor. Transaction signing is handled by Ledger, while Vizor manages account management and transaction creation. Currently, it is supported on some Ledger devices.
