The 'Petition regarding a 2-year postponement of crypto tax,' posted on the National Assembly's public consent petition platform, has reached 48% of the 50,000 signatures required for referral to each committee of the National Assembly. The petition, registered on the 17th, pointed out that 'crypto taxation is a tax policy that reduces taxes because it cannot actually collect more taxes,' and that corporate taxes paid by exchanges such as Dunamu have sharply decreased. It further emphasized that pushing ahead with taxation in a situation where most investors are at a loss and domestic cryptocurrency-related companies are facing operational difficulties would lead to the alienation of young voters and the deprivation of opportunities. The petition agreement period began on the 21st and will last until the 20th of this month.
