Dunamu Wins Final Bid for National Police Agency's 'Seized Virtual Asset Custody'

Dunamu, which operates the virtual asset exchange Upbit, announced on the 7th that it has been selected as the final bidder for the National Police Agency's seized virtual asset storage and management project.

Accordingly, virtual assets seized by the National Police Agency will henceforth be stored and managed through Dunamu's custody service, 'Upbit Custody'.

Upbit Custody is equipped with a 'cold wallet' security environment isolated from the external internet.

It has adopted management systems such as Multi-Party Computation (MPC) and Distributed Key Generation (DKG) to prevent potential incidents caused by single key leakage, and has also applied 'Multi-Signature' (Multi-Sig) cryptographic security technology.

A Dunamu official stated, "Based on our security technology and control capabilities, we will do our best to contribute to enhancing public security and the stability of digital policing infrastructure."
