While XRP's price has been sluggish, the real-world asset market on the XRP Ledger has grown rapidly. The value of circulating assets jumped 28.2% in a month, nearing the $500 million mark.
The Crypto Basic reported on August 6 (local time) that the circulating value of real-world assets (RWA) on the XRP Ledger increased to $484.98 million over the past 30 days. Real-world asset holders also increased by 23.31% to 201, surpassing 200 for the first time.
The Ondo Short-Term US Government Bond Fund (OUSG) led the market expansion. The circulating value of OUSG was $212 million, accounting for approximately 44% of the total. OUSG is the only real-world asset product on the XRP Ledger with a circulating value exceeding $100 million.
Following this, VERT's 101st CRA – 2nd Tranche recorded $56.16 million. Montis Group Limited products were $55.38 million, and Guggenheim Treasury Services DCP was $40.35 million. VERT's 101st CRA – 4th Tranche was tallied at $31 million.
Some indicators moved in the opposite direction. The total indicated asset value decreased by 0.18% to $4.06 billion, and real-world asset transfer volume plummeted by 57.6% to $250.35 million. While circulating assets and holders increased, transaction activity slowed down.
Stablecoin indicators were also mixed. Market capitalization decreased by 9.69% to $901.15 million, but holders increased by 0.95% to 60,320. Transfer volume increased by 2.3% to $4.08 billion, indicating continued network usage despite a decrease in supply.
