Sui (SUI) is adopting two post-quantum signature schemes approved by the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), The Block reported. This will allow users to optionally use quantum-computer-resistant keys generated from existing recovery phrases. According to a recent announcement, the Sui blockchain network plans to add ML-DSA-65 as the default protocol signature method for general accounts and introduce hash-based SLH-DSA-SHA2-128s within Move smart contracts for high-value asset vaults.
