Kraken conducted system maintenance for approximately 15 minutes at 7 AM (UTC) on August 6th. Simultaneously, the automatic sale of remaining balances of 7 assets previously announced for delisting is in progress from August 3rd to 7th.
Kraken announced that the spot exchange website and API usage were temporarily suspended for approximately 15 minutes starting at 07:01 (UTC) on August 6th for a system upgrade.
Separately, deposits, withdrawals, and trading for 7 assets, including PLANCK, AIR, MICHI, FLY, ANLOG, TERM, and STRD, have already been suspended according to the schedule announced in April, and withdrawals ended on July 31st. Kraken stated that it will automatically sell the remaining balances between August 3rd and 7th, depending on market conditions. However, it warned that for some assets, the sales proceeds might be significantly lower than recent market prices or almost zero due to low market liquidity.
