A Greek security researcher hacked into the servers of a North Korean hacking group for about 22 months, observing their activities, and confirmed that 1,640 organizations, including Coinbase and Uniswap Labs, were targeted. According to BeInCrypto, about 700-800 of the 1,640 organizations were severely compromised, with hackers gaining access to their server root, AWS root accounts, and cryptocurrency wallet key permissions. He said, "What's interesting is that North Korean hackers had access to medical records and crime databases, but they barely touched them. Their focus was on cryptocurrency wallets and blockchain access permissions," adding that "warning messages were delivered to Coinbase and Uniswap Labs, and they are known to have responded."
