PeckShield reported that an address associated with the hacker of payment infrastructure company TripleA deposited 2,620 ETH ($4.97 million) into Tornado Cash. Tornado Cash is an Ethereum-based money mixing protocol that mixes cryptocurrency deposit and withdrawal records to make it impossible to trace the transaction history of senders and receivers. On July 25, approximately $10 million worth of cryptocurrency was stolen from TripleA.
