The Ethereum Foundation announced that it will provide a subsidy for the development of the Freedom of the Press Foundation's (FPF) WebCAT through the Trillion Dollar Security (1TS) initiative. The purpose of this support is to introduce front-end verification functionality to Ethereum wallets and dApps. WebCAT is an open-source tool that verifies in the browser whether the code provided by a website matches the code published by the developer.
