Investment bank Bernstein predicted that if the possibility of the CLARITY Act passing this year decreases, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) will accelerate the preparation of cryptocurrency regulations. According to The Block, Bernstein explained, "Regulatory authorities will establish guidelines for △token classification standards △DeFi △self-custody △innovation exemption measures, etc., through Project Crypto." Project Crypto is a project being promoted by President Donald Trump in line with the goal of 'making the U.S. a global cryptocurrency hub.'
