A total of $972 million was lost due to hacking incidents in cryptocurrency projects during the first half of this year, according to a recent report by Web3 security firm Immunefi. While the number of hacking incidents reached an all-time high of 207, the scale of damages was confirmed to be about half of that in the first half of last year.
