Nasdaq-listed mining company Bitdeer (BTDR) announced plans to build a $36 million manufacturing facility in Sparks, Nevada, USA. This will be its first manufacturing facility in the US. The facility is expected to be completed by the end of this year and will be capable of manufacturing up to 10,000 mining rigs per month. Bitdeer is a mining company founded by Jihan Wu, co-founder of Bitmain, after he left Bitmain. Since February, it has been pursuing a so-called 'zero BTC' strategy, selling all the Bitcoin it mines.
