Nikita (@0xVishnya), an expert in the crypto card sector, reported via X that the price of CYPR, the native token of the cryptocurrency wallet app Cypher, plummeted by 88% in one day following its acquisition by global payment infrastructure provider Nium. He stated, "The Cypher ecosystem will be phased out by September 6, but there will be no compensation or buyback for CYPR holders. Locked tokens will remain locked, and the lock-up conditions will also remain unchanged. The founder will move to Nium as VP of crypto, and the team will also transition. While CYPR holders are calling this act a scam, the Cypher team is calling it an acquisition."
