Nagi Hamiyeh, Head of Global Investment at Singapore's sovereign wealth fund Temasek, stated in an interview with CNBC that "cryptocurrency investment is still not under consideration." Citing regulatory uncertainties, he explained, "We are not currently investing directly in cryptocurrencies. However, we are focusing on related infrastructure investments, noting that blockchain technology can contribute to the real economy." Temasek recorded an investment loss of $275 million due to the FTX bankruptcy in 2022.
