Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has finally signed the 'Decree on Measures for the Promotion and Activation of the Digital Asset Industry' to innovate the legal and economic foundation of the country's digital asset market and elevate it to a global hub. According to the Akorda (Kazakhstan Presidential Administration), the decree aims to integrate the entire virtual asset ecosystem into the institutional framework, thereby increasing market transparency, attracting foreign investment, and creating high-tech jobs. It includes provisions such as tax benefits for the industry, support for stablecoin payments, and digital asset mining using natural gas.
