An artificial intelligence (AI) model accurately found a governance proposal that Vitalik Buterin, founder of Ethereum (ETH), anonymously posted to the community in 2024. Previously, Vitalik had publicly raised questions about whether AI tools could penetrate online anonymity, posting a request for someone to find a governance proposal he had anonymously authored. Vitalik stated, "On the 7th (local time), a winner emerged who found my anonymous governance proposal using AI. At the time, I wrote the proposal in Chinese, then translated it into English using the qwen2.5 model, and then manually corrected all errors." The 'winner,' Franklin Wang, CEO of the decentralized exchange (DEX) Liquid, explained, "We utilized our self-developed AI model, 'Coinbest.' Vitalik's writing habits were evident in the content of that proposal."
