Bloomberg reported, citing sources, that Richard Heathcote, former Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of Tether (USDT), is pushing to sell part of his 1.26% stake in Tether. Bloomberg stated, "Heathcote stepped down from his role as CIO, where he oversaw Tether's investment portfolio, in March and currently serves as an advisor. This sale is reportedly for a portion, not the entirety, of his 1.26% stake. Meanwhile, Tether is also facing recent European regulations. As Tether decided not to comply with the European Union's crypto asset regulation MiCA, MiCA-licensed trading platforms are successively delisting USDT. Crypto neobank Revolut also announced its plan to end USDT support on its platform this month."
